I wrote and designed this book alongside my graduate thesis installation. It combines the text I used in the installation along with personal stories. I used city, sky, and helicopter motifs along with creatures that share locomotive qualities with the helicopter, such as insects (dragonflies, mosquitoes, bees, caterpillars). The imagery also progresses from illustrated to photographic.
It's definitely still a work in progress, but there are a few spreads that came together pretty well.
