ILLUSTRATIONS FOR WEDDING INVITATION

A friend of mine requested my icon-making services for her wedding invitations. She also mentioned that it'd be a big bonus to work in a ferris wheel motif (a nod to the proposal location).
The icons were relatively straightforward, but I almost gave up on the ferris wheel until I came across a stock photo of one shot straight on. I counted the number of seats on the actual ferris wheel, and quickly whipped up this very geometric abstraction (hooray for Control-D in Illustrator!). I figured my friend might use it very very small because it made a wonderful delicate accent (which she did), but it also ended up being a major visual motif.
