Moto Actions: Flashlight gesture

work: feature proposal
& proof-of-concept

Proposed and led a hackathon concept for a quick-access flashlight feature, which evolved into a voice command and gesture that activate the flashlight even when the screen is off. Was voted "Most useful" and "Most likely to become a Motorola product".

Coordinated with the Moto Actions team to put the gesture on the plan of record, and in 2015's 5.1 Lollipop upgrade to Motorola phones, the flashlight "chop-twice" gesture was launched.

Gizmodo said of this,
"More gestures! Love this."
